Who is MQT?
I’m Matilia, but most people call me Tia! I am the creator behind MQTWorld, it’s subbrands, and the Substack publication, Creating Romancivity. I’m also behind the Creative Spotlight series, which highlights musicians, creatives, and founders on the rise!
I don’t fit cleanly into one box and happen to wear many hats. I’m a writer, storyteller, creative strategist, digital creator, and someone who’s deeply obsessed with identity, creativity, music, storytelling, branding, and building worlds that actually feel immersive and intentional.
I’ve been writing since I was a little girl and began my professional writing career in 2021.
After working on projects with three musicians – on three separate occasions without even meaning to – I finally realized that I should bring my two biggest passions in life (writing and music) together!
Now I’m an artist narrative + fan engagement strategist who helps artists with narrative writing, creative direction, audience connection, and more.
When I’m not working with artists, I predominantly write memoirs/autobiographies & spiritual/self-help books.
At the center of my work, brand, and platforms are three things. Helping people:
