Most of us know how powerful saturation sessions can be when we’re manifesting our desires. Repetition is key, and repeatedly soaking in the fact that you are already the version of yourself who has your desires, you’re already living in your desired reality, and everything that you want is already done is how you can bridge the (illusionary) gap between yourself and your desires.
Saturation allows you to do that, but a lot of people don’t enjoy saturation because they find it to be boring, tedious, and somewhat of a chore. But it doesn’t have to feel like that! Saturation sessions can be fun.
You can sit and stare at a wall while affirming or write your affirmations 1000 times if you want to, but you don’t have to do that. You can make your saturation session feel like something you actually want to do.

What is Saturation?
Saturation is just continuously reminding yourself that you already have what you desire. Saturating is taking in the new story as much as possible, sitting with it, basking in it, living in it.
Saturating means taking the time to embody the version of yourself who already has what you desire, as much as possible. You can do this by affirming, visualizing, or just thinking about your desires as if you already have them. Because you do.
Whether you’re manifesting love, money, or a dream lifestyle, saturation is how you make the new story dominant.
What Is a Saturation Session?
A saturation session is a dedicated block of time where you immerse yourself in your new reality—the version of life you’re manifesting. The goal is to flood your subconscious with thoughts, visuals, or feelings that match your desired self and reality.
You can do sessions of any length, from ten minutes to eight hours, or whatever suits you. As long as you’re spending time thinking from the perspective of the version of you who already has your desires, that’s all that matters.

Why People Avoid Saturation & How to Fix That (Quick Tips)
A lot of people avoid saturation because they think it’s boring, repetitive, or too time-consuming. But these are fixable problems!
They Find It Boring
Some people avoid saturating because they find it boring. The solution to this problem is to make it feel more interactive! You don’t have to sit still, lie in the dark, and chant like a robot (unless you like that!) Make your session feel like an experience and do whatever keeps you engaged.

They Find It Repetitive
Many people find saturation sessions to be repetitive because they feel like their sessions need to look the same way every time, which isn’t the case. You can switch up your saturation routine any time you want and do whatever you want to do at the moment.
You may use affirmation cards during one session, scroll through Pinterest while affirming during another, robotic affirm during one, and have a rampage during another. Switch it up based on your current preferences to stay engaged.
If you’re someone who enjoys multitasking or needs to keep yourself stimulated while affirming or saturating, keep reading to find some more helpful tips below.
They Don’t Have Time
A lot of people assume they don’t have the time for saturation sessions—often because they think they need to spend an hour or longer doing it every day, but that’s not the case! Your saturation session can be as long or as short as you’d like it to be, and if saturating in twenty minute increments a few times per day works better for you than sitting down for an hour at a time, that’s fine! Besides, having just a twenty to thirty minute saturation sessions each day is better than nothing at all!
Also, you can saturate while commuting, doing your skincare, exercising, gaming, or walking. When you learn to habit stack (attach a new habit to one you already do consistently), you’ll find that you can get a lot more done!
In the next section, we’ll discuss how you can saturate even while doing other things. That way, you can always squeeze in a saturation session and keep yourself entertained while you have them!
Fun Ways to Saturate While Doing Other Things
Here are some suggestions for what you can do while saturating. As always, do what feels good, natural, and fun for you!
Treat Your Saturation Session Like Self-Care
I genuinely do believe that saturation is self-care, as is any manifestation routine! You can make your saturation session a part of your self-care routine if you’d like.
Do a face mask, hair treatment, or have an everything shower while enjoying an inner conversation or looping your affirmations. Give yourself a mani-pedi or enjoy doing your makeup while having a rampage or robotic affirming.
When you make your saturating a part of your self-care routine, you’ll definitely do it more often.
Create A Cozy or Fun Atmosphere
This is always my go-to suggestion because there’s nothing that I love more than being cozy and relaxing. You can never fail by setting a nice vibe and enjoying your saturation session in the comfort of your own space.
Grab your favorite hot or cold beverage and a nice snack, dim the lights, light a candle, and turn on some mood lighting. (I love using my LED lights, sun lamp, or galaxy projector!) Wear some comfy pajamas, grab your favorite blanket, and settle into bed—or put on your fanciest silk robe and take a seat at your desk.
Turn on whatever you want to listen to. This could be ambient music, lo-fi beats, meditation music, subliminals, affirmation tapes, frequencies, your manifestation playlist, or anything else.
Saturate in the way that feels best for you at the time. You may decide to do robotic or focused affirming, have an inner conversation, script, visualize, do a prompt, or any activity that the version of you who has your desire would be doing.
Don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to do anything special to saturate, and if the idea of taking the time to create a whole setup before your saturation session deters you instead of encouraging you, you don’t have to do this. But for those of you who love creating a cozy vibe, you’ll find doing this much more fun than just sitting and doing nothing. If you like any excuse to enjoy a nice, relaxed atmosphere, this will probably become your favorite part of your daily routine very quickly!
Enjoy Activities
I personally love saturating with activities as it feels the most natural to me.
You can do things like scrolling through Pinterest and making a vision board with Canva, or even making a physical vision board with some cutouts from old magazines.
I love doing things like that, but I also love doing activities that are specifically relevant to my desires.
For example, if I’m manifesting an apartment, I like to spend my time doing everything from making packing lists, browsing apartments, figuring out my budget, and compiling lists of furniture stores to shop at to brainstorming decor ideas, looking into moving companies, planning out the events that I’ll host during Holidays, and figuring out how to make it special when guests spend the night.
These are all things that someone with their own apartment would do, so, of course, while I’m saturating my mind with the fact that I have my apartment, I’ll be doing those things too.
I enjoy totally immersing myself in the desired reality with activities like this! If you do too, I suggest:

Watch Something
On days when I’m feeling lazy or just not in the mood to do too much, I enjoy watching things while I saturate—but be careful to make sure that whatever you’re watching doesn’t distract you too much. I suggest avoiding new movies or TV shows, as well as anything that might distract you from your saturation.
So, what should you watch during saturation sessions?
Mind Movies
If you want to keep it purely manifestation-related, you could create a mind movie and watch it, or find one that someone else has already made.
Mind movies are videos or slideshows that contain images, videos, affirmations, and music. They often include short kaleidoscope videos to ease your mind before you begin to watch emotionally evocative video clips and listen to powerful affirmations.
Mind movies are seen as a powerful way to reprogram the subconscious mind because they’re created to get you into SATs, and then once you’ve entered SATS, you’re seeing and hearing things that align with your desires and your subconscious is super receptive to it.
Kaleidoscope Videos
I also enjoy watching kaleidoscope videos on their own because they’re said to improve visualization, help quiet your mind, and ease you into SATs. Plus, they have beautiful imagery that I find addictive to watch!
They’re basically like my Cocomelon 😅.
Walking Tours
I recently discovered walking tours on YouTube and fell in love! Most recently, I’ve watched the Vienna Austria 🇦🇹 – Christmas Capital – 4K Walking Tour, but there are tons of other videos like this for places such as Venice, Tokyo, Paris, New York, and basically any other place you might be interested in.
These tours typically last between one and three hours, showcasing the most beautiful and aesthetic parts of a specific place within the country. I really enjoy seeing the different scenery, and I like watching these while saturating because they keep my eyes occupied without totally distracting me!
Mukbangs
Some people love Mukbangs, while others hate them. I personally love them! And I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve spent entire Saturdays scrolling through TikTok or YouTube Mukbangs while affirming and having inner convos.
Mukbangs keep my eyes and ears busy, but allow my mind to stay free while I saturate—but I do make sure to only watch Mukbangs with no talking.
ASMR
ASMR is such a diverse niche, and I absolutely love it!
Some days I’m in the mood to watch typing ASMRS, and some days I enjoy watching Camping ASMRs (because I’m truly obsessed with watching people set up the most lavish-looking campsites and enjoy a night out in some gorgeous portion of nature).
Other times, I love watching cooking ASMRS (and have become intrigued by watching ‘Early American’ cooking videos) or Nail ASMR. Occasionally, I like to watch iPad Writing ASMR, Flower Jelly ASMR, or anything else I happen to stumble upon.
Like I said, ASMR is a vast genre, so find whatever you’re interested in!
Voiceless Korean Vlogs
I really enjoy watching these videos, which are usually 20 – 40 minutes. There’s no talking, and they’re usually a compilation of a week’s worth of homemade meals + shopping, market tours, and other everyday occurrences. They’re super peaceful to watch!
Football – Or Any Sport
I love college football and when football season comes around, I am elated. I usually enjoy watching football games while listening to music and repeating my affirmations. I do like to reserve this for repeating short affirmations that are (preferably) 4 words or less, though.
If you’re a football fan, you might consider saturating while watching football—that way you can feel productive even while lounging around for 12 hours on Saturdays 🤠 but if you’re not a fan of football, of course, you can watch any sport while saturating!
I personally don’t listen to the audio while watching sports, so I find it non-distracting. But maybe don’t do this one if you’re prone to getting super invested in the game and start yelling at the TV instead of focusing on your saturation session!
Anything Else
Whatever keeps me entertained yet undistracted is what I like to watch. Whether it’s old cartoon Disney movies, Studio Ghibli cooking compilations, or aesthetic lo-fi backgrounds, just find whatever works for you!
Play Games
Of course, I’m sure we’ve all heard about how well playing Subway Surfers goes along with having a saturation session by now! But if you’re looking for other games to play during saturation sessions, make sure to find ones that don’t distract you or take up too much brain power.
(I used to play PUBG while saturating, and I don’t know why I thought I could do that without getting distracted…?)
I personally enjoy playing games like Dress to Impress (in free play mode) or nostalgic older games while saturating, but I’ll keep this section brief since I made a whole other article about it!

Challenge Yourself
If you’re someone who feels motivated by challenges, then, of course, you may find saturation sessions more fun if they come with challenges or stipulations. You can always decide to gamify your session by setting rules or target goals for yourself.
You can do this by setting a goal like, “I want to hit 10,000 affirmations today,” or make it relevant to your specific desire by setting a goal like, “I’m manifesting my dream apartment, so today I’ll find 10 furniture stores and build my ideal space in a Pinterest board.”
Keep It Fresh
Earlier, we discussed creating a ritual, which I believe can make your saturation session feel more special and enjoyable. But I also think it’s important to keep things fresh so you don’t get bored, too.
Don’t hesitate to switch things up every once in a while!
What to Avoid During Saturation Sessions
You may be wondering if there’s anything you could do wrong or should avoid during saturation.
The only things you want to avoid are:
Doing things you don’t enjoy
If you hate journaling, don’t force it. Use audio or visuals instead. If you don’t like visualizing, don’t visualize. Try scripting instead. Find the things you like to do and do them. You don’t have to force yourself to do any methods that you don’t actually like because there are no “right” or “wrong” methods.
Getting discouraged
Saturation isn’t about forcing something to happen quicker in the 3D. You shouldn’t think of it like, “Well, if I just saturate enough, I’ll finally manifest it!” Saturation should be about having fun and reminding yourself that you already have it. You have nothing to worry or stress about because it’s already yours, and everything you’re doing during your saturation session is for the sake of having fun and soaking in the fact that it’s already done.
Final Thoughts
Saturation should feel like a treat, not a task. If you don’t like to saturate, you just haven’t found the way that works for you yet—but there is a way. Have fun exploring until you find it!

FAQ
I don’t have time—how can I fit this in?
You can stack it with other low-effort activities you already do, such as commuting, doing dishes, playing mobile games, or getting ready for bed. Affirm mentally while doing them, listen to subliminals in the background, etc.
What’s the best way to stay consistent with saturation?
Create a routine or ritual you enjoy. Use a playlist, a cozy setting, and specific tools (cards, apps, journals) to keep things fresh, so it doesn’t feel like a task.
Can I saturate for multiple topics at once (money, love, health)?
Yes, just make sure you’re not overwhelming yourself. I prefer focusing on one topic or desire per saturation session, but you can rotate themes, batch them into sessions, or create rituals around specific topics.
What if Nothing is Showing Up Yet, Even Though I’ve Been Saturating for a Long Time?
If you’re asking this question, I can tell you exactly why it isn’t showing up: You’re not being the person who already has it. The version of you who already has it isn’t asking where it is. That person is busy enjoying it, living with it, knowing that it’s theirs.
Do you go to a drive-in, order food, pay for it, pull up to the window, and then start start crying, second-guessing whether or not you’ll actually receive it, frantically looking around, and asking where the food is when you don’t see it within two seconds?
I really hope not.
You know you have the food, and you’re confident in the fact that you have the food because you literally just know that you have it. And you knew you had it the second you placed your order and paid for it, so you weren’t crying and looking around for it before it was handed to you.
Instead, you were chilling in the car, listening to music, scrolling through your phone, or talking to your family and friends while your food was prepared. You could probably already taste it, and I’m sure you were already planning what to watch while you ate it, or even what to do after you did.
Stop frantically looking around, trying to figure out where your desire is, “if” you’re going to get it, and when. Understand that you already have it, enjoy living as the person who already has it, and have fun planning what you’re going to do now that you have it.
